Year 2
Welcome to Year 2!
Welcome to the Year 2 page. Please take the time to have a look at what we have been doing so far in Year 2 and also what we will be doing as the year progresses.
Our Teaching Team consists of Mrs Smith, Miss Ward, Miss Stott, Mrs Jackson,Miss Boswell, Miss Webster and Mrs Quantrill.
Important information
- Year 2 PE day is on a Tuesday Morning.
- Homework will be given out on a Friday and is due back in on the following Thursday.
- Our topic for this half term is 'Growing Things and Living Creatures'.

We have had a disco today to celebrate all of the children's hard work over this term. We have some fantastic moves in Year 2!
Today Year 2 have been looking at Van Gogh's Sunflower painting and we have created our own sunflower heads. Each class will be making their own version on the painting.
Last Week We Had an Exciting Visit to See Lots of Animals in Their Habitats.
