Statutory Test dates for 2025-2026

Here are the dates for when the National KS2 SATs will take place in May 2026.
Monday 11th May to Thursday 14th May 2026.

Here is the timetable for KS2 SAT week 2026

Mathematics Paper 1: arithmetic (30 minutes) Paper 2: reasoning (40 minutes)	Wednesday 14th May
Mathematics Paper 3: reasoning (40 minutes)	Thursday 15th May

Schools must complete the reception baseline assessment for each child in the first 6 weeks after the start in reception.

School must complete the early years foundation stage profile assessment between April and June in reception year.

Year 1 children will complete their phonics screening check in the week beginning Monday 8th June 2026.

The children who did not pass their phonics screening check at the end of Year 1 will complete it in the week beginning Monday 8th June 2026.

Year 4 children will complete the multiplication check within the 2 week periods starting Monday 1st June 2026.
