KS2 SATs 2027

Here are the dates for when the National KS2 SATs will take place in May 2027.
Monday 10th May to Thursday 13th May 2027.

Reception Baseline Assessment

Schools must complete the reception baseline assessment for each child in the first 6 weeks after the start in reception.

Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Assessment

School must complete the early years foundation stage profile assessment between April and June in reception year.

Phonics Screening Check for Year 1 children

Year 1 children will complete their phonics screening check in the week beginning Monday 14th June 2027.

Phonics Screening Check for Year 2 children

The children who did not pass their phonics screening check at the end of Year 1 will complete it in the week beginning Monday 14th June 2027.

Multiplication check for Year 4 children

Year 4 children will complete the multiplication check within the 2 week periods starting Monday 7th June 2027.
