Every week we take part in a physical development programme called Squiggle whilst you Wiggle. Firstly, we use long ribbons, one in each hand to practice large movements along with some funky music. We then put those movements onto the paper, using a crayon in each hand. All the children had a good go and practised up, down and across movements. Using their gross motor movements will help the children in building up essential muscles needed in the future for writing.
