5CB cushions
In Design Technology, we have been looking at textiles and we have been working towards making our own cushion!!
5RT had a fantastic morning Clee Fields to take part in a Maths Festival! We combined our Maths skills with our PE skills! 🤸🏻♀️🏀

This week in Science, we have been learning about air and water resistance! We took part in a couple of fun experiments! 🧪 🧫
As part of Design Technology, we are designing and making a cushion. This week we have began to create our prototype.
As part of our learning about Hinduism, the children have taken part in some yoga today to help them understand Satsang (spiritual togetherness)
Road Safety 2024! 🚗🚙🚕🚓
Today, we had a special visit from a team member from the Humberside Fire and Rescue. We looked at different types of crossing and how to walk across the road safely. Can you name the 5 different crossings? (Hint - some are related to bird names eg Puffin crossing).
Children in Need 2024!! 🐻 💛
This week is anti bullying week, we have worn odd socks to raise awareness and play various ‘respectful’ games!
This week in Science, we conducted our own research to understand about what happens to when we grow old!

In English, we have been knowledge harvesting outside ready to create our Autumn poems at the end of the week! 🍂
This week in art we have been looking at tertiary colours - The combination of primary and secondary colours. Then, we used those colours to paint in the style of Andy Warhol.
In Science, we conducted three different experiments to see which materials were insulators and conductors.
In Art, we have been learning about Andy Warhol’s Pop Art. We had a fantastic time being creative in our sketchbooks.

This term in PE, we have been learning different skills in Netball such as passing, defending and shooting!
