What a fantastic day Year 1 had today! We held a drama workshop linked to our History topic The Great Fire of London. We were joined by Sam who brought with her lots of genuine artefacts from the past. The children got to dress up in old fashioned clothes, look at old London coins, feel the gun powder belt (and smell the gun powder on the clothes) to name a few. The past was brought to life through drama and reenactment. As you can see from the children’s faces they thoroughly enjoyed it. 🌟😊
