  • Being a Scientist

We enjoyed being scientists and conducting different experiments to answer our questions. We made predictions and shared these with each other. We conducted a gummy bear experiment. We used different solutions and placed the gummy bears in the different solutions to see if the bears would change over time. The water definitely made the gummy bear expand in size. Another experiment we conducted was adding warm water to skittles. We found out that as the warm water is added, the sugar coating on the sweets dissolve and causes the colours to run. When the colours mix together they make new colours. Outside, we enjoyed working together to make giant bubbles with hula-hoops and smaller bubbles with wands. This was very tricky due to the very windy day!
