Mental Health and Wellbeing

Understanding and responding to our Mental Health and Wellbeing needs is something we believe in passionately here at Old Clee Primary Academy. We aim to take away the stigma and negativity around Mental Health and help our staff, pupils and families to talk openly.

Our Academy Mental Health Lead is Mrs Julie Barrett and she can be contacted through academy’s main office on 01472 691887.

In this section of our website, we will share our activities and learning in school, as well as helpful advice, websites and contacts.

If you feel your child is needing support with their Mental Health please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Barrett for a confidential chat. We don’t have all the answers but we are able to work through this with you to help find the correct support, whether that is support we can offer from ourselves in school or if we need more specialist involvement. Other specialists may include Compass Go, Young Minds Matter, Mind or NAVIGO to mention a few.

If you would like to see anything added to this page please let us know.
