Our Vision for Oracy at Old Clee Primary Academy

Our vision is to create a school community where every child develops the confidence, skills, and opportunities to communicate effectively in all areas of life. We believe that language is the foundation for learning, relationships, and self-expression, and by fostering strong communication skills, we empower children to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and engage positively with the world around them. As they progress through their journey, our children will grow as confident, empathetic, and articulate communicators, with oracy at the heart of the curriculum, enabling them to deepen knowledge and understanding through talk. Through well-embedded strategies, they are supported to communicate effectively both in school and beyond, preparing them to thrive in every aspect of life.
