Nut Allergies

We would like to remind parents that we have several children in school with a severe nut allergy. If they were to come into contact with nuts in any way, they could have a potentially life-threatening reaction. As a result of this, we respectfully ask that you refrain from putting anything containing nuts into your child’s packed lunch. This includes peanut butter, chocolate spread and Nutella-based products. As we are sure you will agree, it is vital that all pupils are kept safe in school.

It is extremely important that if your child has any injuries requiring them to wear a cast, support or sling that school is alerted straight away, through the front office. A risk assessment will be put in place for your child to help prevent any further damage and to ensure they are kept safe and feel comfortable whilst in school with their injury.
