'Twos' Day

On 18th October, Year 1 had a great day celebrating the number '2'  ‘Twos Day Tuesday’. The children started the day by making a counting in twos crown. The children completed activities and challenges that involved making groups of two, counting forwards and backwards in twos, doubles to 10, solving missing number problems and making number lines. They were superb mathematicians!

Y1 used the outdoor area to support their understanding of counting to 10 Y1 using the outdoor area to collect 10 items Y2 using concrete equipment to support their understanding of place value
