Nursery
Welcome to the Nursery page. Please take the time to have a look at what we have been doing so far this year.
Our Teaching Team in Nursery consists of Miss Blake, Miss Smith, Mrs Glentworth, Mrs Franklin
and Miss Bridges.
Summer Term 2019
Newsletters
This term our topic is animals - our stories are Pig in a pond and Dear Zoo. We will be talking about farm animals and zoo animals, their habitats, their young and what makes them different. We will also be looking at how our environment develops as the seasons change.
Sports Day
Spring Term 2 - March and April
Newsletters
This term we are looking at fairy tales and Spring. The stories we are concentrating on are Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs and the Gingerbread man. We are looking at size, story language, behaviour, families and growing.
World Book Day - We all dressed up as our favourite book character.
Pancake Day - We loved making pancakes and choosing our own toppings.
Spring Term 1 - January and February

This term we have had a visitor from outer space - we have had an alien called Zog staying with us. We have taught him all about Earth, about Winter and about what we are learning at school. We have been counting carefully, using scissors safely, listening, talking and working together.
Home Challenge - Our children have been busy at home making Zog a vehicle to travel home in at the end of this term.
Zog's Leaving Party - We had great fun making our party tea and then playing games with Zog.

Autumn Term - September to December
Nursery Newsletter - September 2018
The children have really settled well into Nursery. We are so proud of them.
In Nursery we have been doing lots of independent learning both in and outdoors.
We all looked great for Children in Need.
Christmas Jumper Day
Christmas Concert Rehearsals
The children in Nursery have been working extremely hard preparing for their Christmas concert. They are very excited about the upcoming performances and can’t wait to impress the audience with their fabulous singing and super actions. We’re sure mums, dads and family members will really enjoy the show and be very proud when they see just how hard they have been working.
