Daily Items

Home-school books and reading books and records should be brought into school every day. It is also encouraged that your child brings their own bottle of water each day as well as a waterproof coat due to the changing weather.

PE Kit

Year 5 pupils will have PE on split days depending on which class your child is in. 5EO and 5LH will have their lessons on a Monday, whereas 5CW and 5JD will be a Thursday. The children are asked to come to school in PE kit. Please remember to remove any jewellery.

Homework

Each week children will have personalised spellings, times tables and key maths facts (KIRFS- fortnightly) which they must learn off by heart. Times tables will be given out and tested on Wednesdays; spellings on a Friday. KIRFs will be handed out and tested fortnightly.

Multiplication tables is extremely important to Year 5, in preparation for SATs the following year.
