Our P.E day is a Friday, please can children come dressed in P.E clothes and bring plimsolls with them. Can children also remember to bring a water bottle each day for snack times. Please take time to have a look at what we have all been doing so far!
On Friday 20th March, the last day of school for many pupils due to national closures, we helped support our local community by making a food donation to come to school dressed in our lovely, colourful clothes!

We had so much fun dressing up for World Book Day and bringing in our favourite books!
This term we are learning all about people who help us. We have enjoyed pretending to be dentists in the role play area and using the plasters and bandages being doctors!
On Friday 7th February, we had lots of fun taking part in a fund-raising day on behalf of two charities. A small donation was made to come to school wearing red in recognition of CHSF (Children's Heart Surgery Fund), and we then enjoyed participating in a range of number activities as part of the NSPCC Number Day. '5, 6, 7, 8' was the soundtrack to an energetic warm-up to our number-themed PE session in which we participated in a series of games.
We have been continuing our topic of Winter and Hibernation by reading the story "Can't you sleep little bear." We have been learning all about sizes, experimenting with light and dark using torches and had lots of fun in P.E using the apparatus!
This term we are learning all about Winter and Hibernation. The story we are reading is "We are going on a Bear Hunt!"
A great time was had by all at our Nursery Christmas showcase. The children were fantastic and we are so proud of them!
We had the best time at our Nursery Christmas parties and even got a visit from someone very special ...
We have enjoyed playing in our Christmas role play area, dressing up, writing Christmas cards and even decorating our own Christmas tree! We have been working hard practising for our Christmas showcase and we looked great for Christmas Jumper Day!
We went on a special walk looking for signs of Autumn, we had to practice putting our own coats on! We have enjoyed reading the story Owl Babies and learning all about Autumn.
We took part in the BIG MORNING MOVE for Children in Need 2019! We all looked fantastic and had so much fun.
We have had a busy week in Nursery we learnt about Remembrance Day on Monday, made poppies and watched a special video. We have really enjoyed making tea and eating food in our "Cafe in the Park" and we also took part in Odd Socks Day!
We enjoyed our spooky "Room on the Broom" day!
This term the first story we have been reading is Room on the Broom! We have been investigating pumpkins, making witches in the craft area and creating different spells in the potion lab.
This term we have read the story Rainbow Fish. We have explored things we might find under the sea, been very busy making fish in the craft area and worked hard to make fish using different shapes in our Maths groups. The children have also made some wonderful Rainbow Fish at home!
We all had a fantastic "Rainbow Day" celebrating colour. We danced to colour songs in P.E, painted rainbows and played with the coloured sand outside. We were so impressed with the children's fantastic outfits and had so much fun!
We have all had a great first week following the rules, exploring the Nursery and making new friends.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
