Please come to school in your outdoor PE kit every Tuesday. Please check the school uniform policy for a full kit list. Earrings must be removed on PE days unless pupils are able to remove them themselves.
Homework
KIRFS (Key Instant Recall Facts)
The children will be sent home a different set of maths facts to learn every two weeks. There will be 5 facts that the children will need to learn/practise. These are facts that will help the children throughout their maths journey in Year 3.
KIRFS are tested every two weeks!
Spellings
Children will be sent home with their spellings weekly.
Platinum Jubilee Celebration
Year 3 had a fantastic day celebrating the amazing achievement of our Queen. We showed our appreciation through arts, dance and positivity!

World Book Day!
Wellbeing Day!
Today, we were understanding ways that we could improve our mental well-being! We were involved in three different activities aimed at making us and others around us feel good. We didn’t want to let opportunities get past-a us, so as part of learning a new skill, we created pasta bake. At the end of the day, we tasted our fabulous recipes! They were delicious! During our ‘Get Active’ session, we got our hearts pumping in orienteering, by finding clues around the field using a map. These clues all were put together to create the words ‘be active’ as a reminder to exercise as much as we can. We also worked together to create a whole school pair of wings by creating an individual feather each. This made us feel like part of a community. We also created mood boards and set targets as a guide for us to use throughout the year, which contained our personal hopes and dreams. We can’t wait to look back at the at the end of the year and see how far we have come!
