We counted the number of votes and we could talk about which character was the most popular.

Elsa’s ice challenge ❄️
This week we have been scientists! We received a special box from Elsa from Frozen. She had accidentally frozen her friends in the ice and asked for our help! We thought of different ways to melt the ice and rescue the characters. We worked together testing out our ideas such as rubbing, tapping, pouring on water, putting salt on and putting it in the sun. We were very excited when we had finally rescued all of the characters! We thought of words to describe the ice and discussed which method worked the best to melt the ice.

Our Winter walk ❄️
We went outside on a very cold day. Jack Frost had been out! We looked for the signs of Winter. We found frost on the leaves and grass. When we touched the frost it started to melt and turned into water. We left footprints in the frost. It was so cold we could see our breath!

Being a scientist!
The witch from Room on the Broom left some ingredients and a colour mixing challenge for the children. The children had to mix different colours to find out which colours they made. The children then got to mix ingredients to make their own magical exploding potions.
