Year 4 Reading
Over the past few weeks we have introduced a new way of tracking the pupil’s home reading achievements. This process was implemented to encourage our more reluctant readers to pick up a book at home and immerse themselves in the joy of reading.
Our reading leader board celebrates each class's weekly reads. With a little bit of healthy competition, our pupils are showing excitement and pride in their class's achievements. This has shown to have had a very positive effect as the number of times the children are reading at home has improved significantly since last term.
